The show was immediately captivating and exciting, as the first looks that emerged were of a darker and edgier palette, mostly incorporating black and grays. The men walked fierce in structured silhouettes on blazers, jackets, and pants, made by laser-cutting techniques on high tech wool, creased linens and embossed materials. All of these details were fitting, considering that the season was inspired by the graphic and graceful simplicity of the letter “V.”
I really loved the energy from the beginning of the show and how it was maintained as the looks gradually divided into what the designer described as “introspective elegance” in the grays to the blues and whites, “representing hope.” One of the most interesting pieces was the embossed snake pattern nylon jacket. It was quite a funky touch to a traditional fitted jacket that would make quite a fashion forward statement for any man that wants to push limits with his style! The VLOV collection, rocked by some of hottest male models in the business, was super wearable menswear with simple colors and minimal yet strong designs that will work well for any man , whether it be spring or fall.
