KAREN WALKER F/W 2011 FASHION SHOW.

Her inspiration this season was Northern Soul, a music and dance movement during the 60s. Young people would all join the dance floors at once during the British mod period. All of the pieces are perfect for movement and dance. Each look, including dresses, are worn with white socks and flat shoes (this is my kind of show!). I am a HUGE fan of platforms, but more practically I actually wear my brogues. The floral pattern is to die for. While I couldn’t see myself wearing the hat, I love that I haven’t seen it anywhere before. Karen Walker is super chic.
