THE BLONDS F/W 2011 FASHION SHOW.

I was super excited to be invited to The Blonds show this season. I have been following them for quite some time. They have been rapidly picking up press by dressing Rihanna, Nicki , Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall’s SATC character), Lady GaGa, Katy Perry, Fergie and Adam Lambert. They had a pretty all-star front row ringing in the likes of Anna dello Russo, Jay Manuel, Nigel Barker, Miss J, Amanda Lepore, Aubrey O’ Day,Kerry Hilson and Eve. The show started with the Lion Dance that is usually performed at Chinese New Year festivities. And just like that the audience was hooked. When the first outfit arrived, there was a gasp from the audience followed by applause. An amazing gold structured piece walked with sky high gold Louboutin’s and a massive gold building on the model’s head. This show was so much fun. Everyone was cheering and laughing. I was excited to see what would be next as The Blonds may well be the most modern and fresh avant-garde mainstream fashion line out there now. The collection got rave reviews on Twitter, with tons of pictures of Miss Lepore, the RIDICULOUS custom Louboutin’s and sparkly afros. You really can’t hate these guys. They know EXACTLY what they are doing, and they are doing it well. Perfection.
