DENNIS BASSO F/W 2011 FASHION SHOW.

Dennis Basso is absolutely amazing.  Season after season, he is the only designer who gets a standing ovation from the whole audience.  Last season, I was completely wowed by Basso after he incorporated exquisite cocktail dresses into his collection. The previous season, I became a Basso believer after a lovely encounter with one of the PR girls at BPCM.  I have had such great expierences attending each show and this one was no different.  Although security guards are usually checking everyone’s bag for fake blood, (NO PETA CRASHERS ALLOWED!), they did not this season.  I got to my seat only to see an action-packed front row with Nina Garcia, Filipa Fino, Joanna Hillman, Tinsley Mortimer, Robert Verdi, Johnny Weir, Miss J, Derek Blasberg and June Ambrose. There is only so much you can do with fur….NOT.  Dennis Basso gives us fur in new ways we could never possibly think off.  I am always in awe by how gracefully the fur walks down the runway.
