BIBHU MOHAPATRA F/W 2011 PRESENTATION.

Bibhu Mahaptara was another presentation that was complimented by its atmosphere. The steam machine and soundtrack were dramatic but tasteful and as serious as the designs of the collection. All the models wore up-dos as well as standard black feather gloves and smoky eye makeup; however, the looks they each wore were uniquely commanding of the viewer’s attention and stood out on each model. Many of the dresses were asymmetrically cut with panels and had fabric woven in different directions. Some had sleeves with cuts going up the arms complimented by jeweled bangles, straps, and belts. (The amazing jewelry was by Dannijo) Some models wore intricate chokers. All had black tights and shoes. The best way to describe the entire collection is that it was bold and definitely one of the more edgy collections of the season.
