REBECCA MINKOFF F/W 2011 FASHION SHOW.

It makes me very glad to see Rebecca Minkoff’s success growing. I have been a fan for some time. One year ago I visited her F/W 2010 presentation at her showroom. Fast forward one year later and I’m at the biggest runway in all of The Tents, the Theater where Rebecca is presenting her F/W 2011 collection.  Her & her team are one of my favorites in the industry, (not to mention that they throw great parties!). Her PR team is splendid, very accomadting and always thinking outside of the box. Rebecca is not your average designer. She is extremely hands on, doing appearances at department stores and even stopping by her own sample sale.  Her success is very well deserved.

As always, Rebecca’s collection is targeted to me. I am the Minkoff demographic. Models walked to the live music of the talented Sean Lennon, (yes, John Lennon’s son). The pieces were very fun and are perfect for any occasion. Black was pretty much a constant, which I expected from her. She manages to execute her vision perfectly to her fans and her star front row, (uhm Agyness Deyn, Jessica Szohr, Michelle Tractenberg, Tika Sumpter, Stephanie Pratt, Lo Bosworth, Albert Hammond Jr., and Katrina Bowden?). It is no surprise to me that she is getting more & more recognition for her work, and I can’t wait to see what is next for Rebecca!
