JEREMY LAING F/W 2011 PRESENTATION.

We sent one of our Fashion Week Correspondents, Kyle Bryan over to Jeremy Laing show.

Jeremy Laing’s FW11 show was brought to life by it’s rooftop setting. The afternoon’s incredible sun gave life to Laing’s dark & somewhat gothic collection. With a color pallete mostly in the black and blues, it was a very comfortable collection. Sheer skirts, oversize sweaters, oversize knits slouchy jersey dresses are all something that could work in our everyday lives. Hair and makeup were contrived, too on theme with his clothes but still looked great at the presentation. The designer played with digital prints with solar system on gowns,the cut’s were asymmetrical and very “downtown”. Velvet and jersey played a role here, so lookout for them to be an upcoming trend. And of course huge Jeremy Laing supporter Tommy Ton, (of Jak & Jil) was in attendance.
