BUCKLER F/W 2011 PRESENTATION.

Atypical runway shows and presentations have really defined this Fashion Week, and Andrew Buckler is no exception. He surprised us by closing down an entire block in Soho to showcase his collection. The color scheme started out with charcoal and other dark colors, and slowly bloomed into pieces that were subtly mixed with highlighter yellow and graphic prints. His collection presented layering in different ways- cabled cardigans, tailored jackets, cotton pants, and loose jersey shirts just to name a few. After the show, we were able to get a closer look at the garments inside the store through an additional presentation.
[...] Buckler shutting down Grand Street for the presentation. I cannot believe they got the permit to shut down the whole street, especially since AWang is opening up their store there soon. The presentation was open to the public who stood around as guys walked the “runway”, which was really just the streets of New York City. Classic. [...]
