I really enjoyed the Oscars Red Carpet this year. I didn’t really think anyone important should fall under the WORST dressed category this year. Didn’t really like Tina Fey or Queen Latifa’s dresses :/ So the categories this time around are “Best Dressed” and “Could Have Done Better Dressed”

Best Dressed (1 is the best, 10 is the worst)

1. Diane Kruger in Chanel

A lot of people didn’t get this dress. Diane stepped out of the box, didn’t stick to a boring fitted tube dress that falls out into organza and tulle.  She definitely brought it like I thought she would.  This is such a Diane Kruger dress and I am so glad she wore this.  She looks FABULOUS in it!

2. Cameron Diaz in Oscar la Renta

Def one of Rachel Zoe’s biggest accomplishments.  She looks gorgeous.  Actually, this is the best I think she has ever looked!  This fits her so perfectly.  Not to mention, it is just a beautiful dress.  Go Cameron!

3. Demi Moore in Altier Versace

Who is this person?  I honestly could not believe this was Demi.  This dress is gorgeous and she totally works it. I love the color, the bandage detail, the material and the flower.  Beautiful!  Another Zoe creation!

4. Jennifer Lopez in Armani Prive

I knewwwwwwwwww this Prive collection was going to be red carpet madness!  This dress looks fantastic on Jennifer, and looked even more amazing on camera.  This is certainly the greatest I have seen her looking in a while as well!

5. Nicole Richie in Reem Acra

Nicole always hits the nail on the head, and this is why I love her.  She hardly ever disappoints.  This fits her so perfectly and compliments her personal style well.  Not to mention, Joel on her arm made the dress 10x hotter!

6. Carey Mulligan in Prada

Carey is so adorable and is proving herself as a new face of style.  This Prada is perfect for her.  Did you know that all the little details are actually scissors and forks and cool little tools?  Interesting!  She looks wonderful!

7. Rachel McAdams in Elie Saab Couture

I am so happy she wore this because sometimes she lets me down.  Although, I have to say this dress looked a lot better on camera and in motion than in this still picture.  She looks great and Elie Saab is slowly starting to become one of my red carpet favs!

8. Anya Hendrick in Elie Saab Couture

Another Elie Saab creation!  I love this.  She does a great job at pulling off such a basic color dress with her fair skin & brunette hair.  She look amazing!  Such a different person from her character in Up in the Air!

9. Miley Cyrus in Jenny Packham

She looked like a princess!  I am so impressed.  She is really improving her look.  Her mother on the other hand….

10. Elizabeth Banks in Versace

She is such a beautiful girl.  This color is so perfect for her, and is really making me look forward to spring.

Could Have Done Better Dressed (1 is the most disappointing, 10 is the least disappointing)

1. Zoe Kravitz in Alexis Mabille

Urgh! I expected so much more from Zoe!  I was really looking forward to seeing her and this was extremely disappointing

2. Kristin Stewart in Monique Lhuillier

Yawn. She gave me hope at the New Moon premiere when she whipped out that amazing Oscar de la Renta dress.  This boring navy thing is such a snoozer.  Supporters of this dress are mostly her fan base.  She should have worn this to the premiere, and the de la Renta to the Oscars.  Not to mention how awkward and uncomfortable she is…as usual.

3. Kate Winslet in Yves Saint Laurent

Kate Winslet looks beautiful but this dress is a SAG dress.  She could have done it a lot bigger for the Oscars, especially considering how many GORGEOUS dresses there were.

4. Maggie Gyllenhaall in Dres van Noten

Maggie gets a lot of credit for wearing Dres on the carpet.  Still, not the greatest dress choice.  Still, not the worst dress.

5. Sarah Jessica Parker in Chanel Couture

I actually can’t believe this dress is Chanel Couture.  It isn’t THAT terrible, but it didn’t walk well and I do not think it suits her body.  I saw runway pictures of the dress, and it looks a lot better on their model.  Also that hair looked like a cat.

6. Penelope Cruz in Donna Karan Collection

Gorgeous woman.  Gorgeous dress.  Still, I am not impressed when the two are put together.  It is also clashes with the carpet big time.  I feel like I have seen this many times before.

7. Vera Farmiga in Marchesa

This is one hell of a dress!  The color suits her.  She looks really great.  I love the ruffles, but the placement of the ruffles on top just erks me enough to have her on this list

8. Amanda Seyfriend in Armani Prive

Who gave her Prive? Love the dress.  NOT for her.  JLO knocked her out of the park.  It does not compliment her skin tone at all.  She gets some points for effort.  Not everyone can wear Armani Prive unfortunately!

9. Charlize Theron in Dior Couture

I love the roses!  But all in all, this dress looks cheap and I hate the color contrast choices.

10. Sandra Bullock in Marchesa

I could not believe that she won best dressed on E Fashion Police!  I don’t love this dress, but I certainly don’t hate it!  There were so may better dresses out there!

11. Zoe Saldana in Givenchy Haute Couture

I really have no feelings about this dress, (other than the shoe matching sucks).  One day I love it, then I hate it.  Ambivalence.  That is all.
